Charlie will be a GMP study partner for extraction labs. For now, the chat on this page is a scripted rehearsal.

The replies in the chat were written in advance, and none of them is generated by AI. You can type a question if you like, but nothing you type leaves the page. A live assistant that guessed at Annex 7 would be worse than a rehearsal like this one.

Is this extractor certified?

Charlie

No, and I’d be wary of anyone who tells you it is. Certificates are issued to sites after an inspection of the rooms, the SOPs and the quality unit. A machine can be built to support all of that, but it can’t hold the certificate itself.
So what do I ask the vendor?

Charlie

Ask for mill certificates for the product-contact parts, drawings that show dead legs and drainage, and an IQ/OQ package you can read through now, because a promise to help later is no substitute. If a supplier still insists the equipment is certified, ask who issued the certificate, to which site, and when.
