About
A field guide to GMPfor cannabis and hemp
Expert-signed0Every guide stays a working draft until a named expert signs it.
GMPEquipment.com is an educational site for cannabis and hemp facility operators who are working through GMP, cGMP, and EU GMP. It covers the GACP→GMP transition, EU GMP Annex 7, ICH Q7, EudraLex Volume 4, and 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211. We explain in general terms what these published standards require, and every regulatory statement we make names the primary source behind it.
Who we write for
We write for operators who are partway through the move from a cultivation or state-licensed operation to pharmaceutical GMP. That means quality leads, regulatory affairs (RA) staff, founders, and the engineers who have to build to the standard. It’s a professional audience, so we’d rather be precise than reassuring.
What we do, and what we don’t
We are a consultancy, and we do sell help getting to GMP. What we don’t sell, and what nobody can sell you, is the certificate itself. We are not a notified body or a certifying authority, so we cannot issue a GMP certificate, and neither can anyone who offers to sell you one. We also don’t declare any facility or piece of equipment compliant. This isn’t an equipment catalog, either. Equipment from our partner Decimal appears only in context, once the educational material has done its job, and the Decimal disclosure explains how that works. Everything we say about a regulation is cited to the text.
How to use what you read here
Everything on this site is general education. Any determination that depends on your own facility belongs to your QP, your RA professional, and your competent authority. Our methodology page sets out how we verify what we publish, the editorial and ethics policy lists what we refuse to say, and the accessibility statement names the target we hold the site itself to.
Advisory
Have a specific room or process in mind?
Tell us what you make, where you sell it and what you already have. A person reads every intake. We won’t tell you you’re compliant, and we won’t sell you a certificate.
